I would first let the photographer know that you have learned it is a Code of Ethics violation and that if you are not paid immediately you will have your broker notify their broker. You may get paid faster if they want to avoid embarrassment and possible fines in addition.
I find that the "unrestricted" category may not be selected on some listings. Once you choose your search criteria (area, price, etc.) you can do a quick view of the subdivisions which is telling. If "subdivision" is left blank or shows as unk (unknown), rural or a tract name, chances are likely that it is unrestricted. It is worth a call to verify.
