My experience with the leasing process has been somewhat disappointing, primarily due to the property's move-in condition.
I moved in on October 10 and was informed that the landlord's belongings occupying a significant portion of the garage would be removed by October 11. Unfortunately, that deadline was pushed back multiple times, and the belongings remain in the garage, with the latest removal date now set for October 25.
Additionally, I discovered that the garage did not have an automatic door opener, something I was unable to properly check during the initial showing because the garage was occupied by the landlord's belongings.
On a positive note, the listing agent personally reached out to discuss my concerns and explain the situation. I appreciate her professionalism, willingness to listen, and efforts to communicate, especially since the removal of the belongings is ultimately the landlord's responsibility.
While I appreciate the agent's efforts, the repeated delays and unexpected inconveniences have made the move-in experience frustrating. I hope the remaining issues are resolved as promised.
