What I have done in the past is to include the following language in the Agent Remarks on my listings that have terminated or been withdrawn:\n\nDO NOT contact this seller. He is on the do not call list. I have instructed my client to make note of all calls he receives from unethical agents and their staff. We will be reporting those that call to TREC, HAR and any other appropriate authorities.\n\nI am sure your agent would be happy to add the above language to the listing. \nGood morning Paul,\n\nYour realtor is the key to addressing both of your concerns stated above. \n\nYou are correct, most listings do not offer floor plans. When a floor plans is included, generally those are new homes. Resales listing rarely come with floor plans.\n\nEven though it would be nice, HAR\'s consumer and realtor search parameters do not allow for such an exclusion. Word to the wise, the data in HAR is only as good the person who inputted it. Thus, if you find something that you really like, I would not eliminate it solely based on the HAR data. \n\nMy recommendation is to take a cursory look at homes on HAR and then put your realtor to work. Have him/her ferret out those homes that meet your specific criteria. Part of our job as realtors is to make the process as easy and efficient as possible for our client.\n\nAs it relates to the trophies, your wife and daughter are not the only consumers who find them offensive. Again, I would ask your realtor for assistance. \n\nThat professional can reach out to the listing agent, indicating that you are very interested in the home, but the animal heads are are too much of a distraction for his/her client (you). By doing so, your agent would not only be assisting you but also the homeowner. No doubt others are probably interested in the home, but put off as well.\n\nBest of luck!
