I may have missed it, but i don't see anyone here mentions about the "Addendum Regarding Rental Flood Disclosure (TXR 2015)" It's has been required since Jan 01, 2022 Please see the link to this article on Texas Realtors® https://www.texasrealestate.com/members/posts/new-texas-realtors-form-addendum-regarding-rental-flood-disclosure/
Basically, in order to qualify for a mortgage to buy a property, you will need 3 things:\n\n1. Stable income (it\'s perfect if you have been working for the same job for at least 2 years)\n\n2. Minimal debt (the least you owe the better you are. Start paying off your existing debts and don\'t take on any new. Your goal is to get qualify for a new debt for a property)\n\n3. Work on your credit (as you\'re paying off debts, or lowering your debt balances, your credit score increases. The higher your score the better interest you\'ll get for the mortgage. If there is any debt collection on you, resolve it. Collections need to be cleared)\n\n The down payment to purchase a property is the last thing you worry about. Since you will be first time home buyer, ask SOME lenders about any \"Down Payment Assistant Program\" that you can leverage. In a good condition, you can be qualified for a Convention Loan with 3% down payment, or FHA Loan with 3.5% down payment, plus the Down Payment Assistant Program to cover part or whole of your down payment and closing cost. \n\nAnyway, good for you to ask question on HAR. Now that you have many professionals lining up ready to guide and help you. \n\nMy last advise: Get out of that apartment!!!
I think Sharon\'s question is more like: Is there any way to filter the search so the results only show the properties without MUD. \n\nThe answer is: No\n\nMaybe we can suggest MLS to think about it.
