The appraisal value is assessed by the County Appraisal District. The property taxes are evaluated based on the appraised value and/or any exemptions claimed. In most cases, the market value is different from the appraised value. Market value is determined by taking into account several factors including but not limited to the condition of the property (upgrades or repairs needed), location, neighborhood trends and recent sold property values. In order to save a search, you will need to sign in to your HAR home finder portal. You can either create an account or use one of your social media sites to log in.
Once you are in your portal, click on "Find a Home", then select the property type - Single family, Townhouse/condo, Rental...
Input your specific search criteria with the price range, bedroom & bathroom count, area/zip code or school district. Then click on the yellow button on the bottom right corner labeled as "Save Search".
I would suggest to first select the search button, to view the available properties that fit your criteria. This will allow you to refine your search depending on the results.
