We appreciate their patience as we were being introduced to the area which required a significant amount of investigation to understand the local options, price ranges, and limitations during a market of consistently increasing home prices. If I could have selected more stars to highlight just how incredible our experience with Stephanie Ray was, I most certainly would have. Stephanie goes above and beyond in her capacities as a realtor—not only to make sure that your home sells for top dollar, but also to ensure that you remain as stress-free as possible during what is undeniably one of the most trying life-events for anyone. Whether it is offering her own personal time to help you pack, or calmly talking you off the ledge when it all feels like too much, Stephanie makes herself available to you, day or night. It always surprised me when she casually mentioned another client, because honestly, I always felt like I was her only one! She truly made me feel like her number one priority. All that, while managing to be the successful owner/broker of her own firm, an incredible mother of three, and a loving wife! Can you say crushing it? I warned Stephanie Ray when she took us on as clients that I was likely going to be one of her greatest challenges. We were currently living in a perfectly nice home with no real need to move, other than my long-held desire to live in a certain neighborhood and renovate a home from top to bottom. But it couldn’t be just any home. There was a long list of must-haves and have-nots, and I was quick to know whether a house was right or wrong based on feeling alone. Before meeting Stephanie, we had left one agent because she was not the right fit, and another because our needs were not being met. Needless to say, I came into our relationship with high standards. And immediately, Stephanie exceeded them and then some! Stephanie went toe-to-toe with me on the little details and the types of homes I was looking at. She truly listened to me and made sure that she didn’t waste my time with anything other than exactly what I was asking for. I am confident that her relationship-driven approach allowed her to understand me as both a person and a buyer, in a way that most agents rarely take the time to do. Her patience to stand by me as I turned down house after house—to no fault of Stephanie’s but because it was just not right—is a true testament to her character. She made herself available to me at a moment’s notice, always making sure that I would not miss out on an opportunity to view an in-demand home during a very hot seller’s market. Her love for people and what she does is evident and it shines through in the level of care you get when working with her. Stephanie’s responsibilities as an agent were to represent our best interests in a real estate transaction; however, I can honestly say that she went so far above and beyond that—countless times I witnessed her put the needs of others before her own—real estate or otherwise.
